We retrieve and analyse financial data from your client’s banking institutions using trusted and secure third-party services to provide you with valuable insights into your client’s financial situation.
2. Information We Collect
We collect personal information from you in the following ways:
- When you sign up for AffordX or use our services, you provide personal information such as your name, email address, and other details necessary for us to create and maintain your account.
- With your client’s consent, AffordX retrieves financial information such as transaction history, account balances, and other financial data from your client’s bank accounts through trusted third-party services. This data is used to perform affordability assessments and provide insights on your mortgage assessment processes.
- We utilise Akahu's open banking connector, which provides a one-time consent service to securely retrieve financial data from your authorised bank accounts. You can review Akahu's privacy notice here.
3. How We Use Your Information
AffordX uses the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain our services, including assessing affordability and offering financial insights.
- To communicate with you regarding updates, features, or services.

- We share your client’s financial information with secure third-party services to retrieve data from your bank accounts and process it to provide affordability assessments. These third parties are bound by their own privacy terms to safeguard your data.
